Joyfull, yes!...
Came across this very talented young lady just following links when browsing one day, liked what we heard. This CD is really a wonderful journey and makes for very enjoyable 'road trip' music! The 'Reggae' qualities on some tracks are just plain fun and the entire CD just makes you smile. The light jazz and soul on others makes you want more. Will be looking for another from Ayo!

As Sade is oceanic and earthy, Ayo is air. Her style, like her biracial elder, is sensuous and musically grounded, sweet and a bit melancholy. This album is lovely for twilight listening. In a world run over with soul wannabes, Ayo joins the ranks of those few authentic singer/songwriter/musicians who put truth, heart and beauty into their music. This is a beautiful CD made by a talented singer. I came across this CD by mistake and I am glad that I did.

Ayo's Opening Act...
After viewing Ayo's performance on PBS, I was inspired to purchase her CD and I'm glad I did...The music is provocative, moving, and soothing, it a musical-emotional depth trip that brings you out on the sunnyside. Thank you Ayo.
