Ultimate DVD set of the Ultimate Sci-Fi Classic Movie...
Great packaging, bonuses are excellent, gift set with model car and more are well worth the price. A must have for any sci-fi movie buff.

Love Theme...
One of the great synth-based soundtracks of all time-I guess i'm a corny romantic type,but the love theme always gets through to me-to me,it's a beautifully inspired take on "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You"-I forgot who did that one.

A Must Have...
If you have seen the movie, you already know. This is a must have. Vangelis wraps it up into a fine package with additional tracks that don't see the light of the film, but fit perfectly into the soundtrack. Buy it.

One of the Few Scores One Should Own...
I'm not a great fan of movie scores, but this is an exception. Vangelis' style is perfectly suited to the movie, but the score is very listenable on its own, with cuts of movie dialogue between a few pieces, giving the whole thing unity. Most of the music is deep and well written, unlike that of other artists filed under "new age" in the record store, and tracks like "One More Kiss Dear" -- an homage to music of the 30s and 40s -- show variety of style. It is worth owning.

The CD to get (not the 25th Anniversary)...
This is an awesome soundtrack adaptation (Vengelis took some artistic liberty by inserting some sounds from the actual movie, but its great) for Blade Runner, listen to this and the whole movie will come washing back over you. Definately get this CD and not the 25th Anniversary (its a waste for the money..I have both).
Vangelis at his best.
